DILG Mis Occ interviews 400+ Qualified Contact Tracer Applicants via Teleconferencing
OROQUIETA CITY-The newly reconstituted DILG Misamis Occidental Human Resource Merit, Promotion and Selection Board headed by Provincial Director Pablio L. Benitez, Jr., CESO V has started the deliberation of qualified applicants for the position of Contact Tracer through teleconferencing via Google Meet.
The number of applications received by this level and the fact that we are still under temporary office lockdown enabled us to find ways in order to accommodate all qualified applicants.
The virtual interview is composed of four (4) batches which started last September 19, 2020 until September 22, 2020. As of this date, close to 300 applicants were already assessed and another round of panel interview is set today for more than 150 applicants.
The hired Contact Tracers shall augment or form part of the existing Contract Tracing Team of an LGU who will provide the first point of contact of cases of COVID-19. They shall conduct case interviews, profiling, perform an initial public health risk assessment of COVID-19 cases and their identified close contacts as well as engage in COVID related advocacy campaigns.
It is noteworthy that this hiring is an offshoot of the Bayanihan II Act signed by the President on September 11, 2020 which provides for a multibillion peso fund to strengthen the government’s coronavirus pandemic response and recovery efforts.
